What is Wiz?

Wiz is the dominant cloud security platform and the leader in AI Security Posture Management (AI-SPM). Founded in January 2020 by Assaf Rappaport, Yinon Costica, Roy Reznik, and Ami Luttwak, Wiz automatically discovers and maps shadow AI pipelines, model deployments, and training data across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The platform uses agentless API-based scanning for rapid deployment, with its Security Graph providing prioritization of critical risks across multi-cloud environments. Wiz identifies misconfigurations, exposed models, and sensitive training data risks across the entire AI supply chain.

Headquartered in New York City with engineering centered in Tel Aviv, Wiz has grown to over 3,200 employees. The company raised $1.9B in total funding and is being acquired by Google for $32 billion in an all-cash transaction expected to close by March 2026.
