How does Respan know whether NVIDIA is down?

Every five minutes Respan reads NVIDIA's official status page and incident feed, counting only its API, not its chat apps. An active incident marks it degraded, and a critical incident or an official outage marks it down. Uptime counts critical incident time in full and major incident time at 30%.

What can I do while NVIDIA is down?

Route requests through a gateway that falls back to another provider or model when a call fails. With the Respan gateway you list fallbacks once and failed requests retry on them automatically, so an outage at NVIDIA doesn't reach your users.
