xAI is up. Its official status page reports no active incident.
Every five minutes Respan reads xAI's official status page and incident feed, counting only its API, not its chat apps. An active incident marks it degraded, and a critical incident or an official outage marks it down. Uptime counts critical incident time in full and major incident time at 30%.
Route requests through a gateway that falls back to another provider or model when a call fails. With the Respan gateway you list fallbacks once and failed requests retry on them automatically, so an outage at xAI doesn't reach your users.
