What is OpenCode?

OpenCode is an open-source AI coding agent from Anomaly that runs in the terminal, as a desktop app on macOS, Windows, and Linux, and as an extension for VS Code, Cursor, Zed, Windsurf, and VSCodium. It connects to 75+ LLM providers through Models.dev, including local models and existing GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT Plus/Pro accounts, and uses LSP for code understanding across languages.
